Jewelry fit depends on several separate measurements. Check the dimensions on the individual product page before ordering.

Connection thread

The listed threaded earring ends use a 0.9 mm connection thread. This describes the joining part between the end and compatible post.

Post thickness or gauge

This describes the thickness of the post that passes through the piercing. It is not the same measurement as the connection thread.

Wearable post length

For a straight flat-back post, wearable length is measured from the inner surface of the back to the underside of the fitted top. Decorative end height and back thickness are not included in that measurement.

Decorative end size

Width and height describe how much space a design occupies. Check the longest dimension of wings, curves, and dangling styles when planning a stack.

Ring diameter

If you are shopping for a ring, check whether the listing specifies an inner or outer diameter. This is a different measurement from ring thickness.

Choosing your fit

Use the verified specifications of a piece that already fits as a reference. For piercing placement, post length, and suitability, consult a professional piercer. Lifestyle images are styling references, not a measurement scale.
